Faucets

Faucets allow you to obtain test tokens for use on Nillion's Ethereum L2 Testnet. This guide explains how to get ETH and NIL tokens for testing purposes.

Get ETH on Nillion's Ethereum L2 Testnet​

To get ETH on Nillion's Ethereum L2 Testnet, you'll need to first obtain Sepolia ETH and then bridge it to the L2.

Step 1: Get Sepolia ETH​

  1. Visit a Sepolia faucet, such as the Conduit Faucet or Alchemy Faucet
  2. Connect your wallet and request Sepolia ETH
  3. Wait for the transaction to complete

Step 2: Bridge to Nillion's Ethereum L2 Testnet​

  1. Visit the Nillion's L2 testnet bridge to bridge from Sepolia to Nillion's L2
  2. Connect your wallet
  3. Select Sepolia as the source chain and "Nillion Testnet" as the destination
  4. Enter the amount of ETH you want to bridge
  5. Complete the bridge transaction

Once the bridge transaction is confirmed, your ETH will be available on Blacklight Testnet.

Get NIL on Nillion's Ethereum L2 Testnet​

A direct NIL faucet for Nillion's Ethereum L2 Testnet is not yet available.
